While he started studying classical piano at age six, he began his passion of studying jazz music in seventh grade under Mark Vialva, which has since become his favorite music genre. He has been studying classical music for nine years with Inna Muravnik. He also began studying jazz trumpet two years ago and has since studied under Josiah Reibstein, Mark Vialva, and Dave Burdett privately. Outside of private lessons, Sebastian has previously participated in the Park School Jazz Band, the Milton Academy High School jazz program, and Jamey Aebersold jazz programs. Through the VIBE program, Sebastian hopes to spread his love and passion for this underappreciated genre of music to the greater Boston area to not only benefit the world of jazz, but also the audiences.
